J.B. Hunt Transport Services (JBHT) is higher after the company reported mixed financial results for Q1.
Shares are up 3% at $73.67, with a 52-week range of $67.97 – $79.89.
The owner and operator of surface transportation and delivery services reported Q1 net earnings of $68.7 million, or $0.58 per share, compared with the prior-year period’s $73.3 million, or $0.61 per share. Revenue was $1.41 billion, up from $1.29 billion in the same quarter last year.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ were expecting EPS of $0.61 on revenues of $1.4 billion.
